A&E for children

We run a specialist children's A&E service for emergency eye conditions in the Richard Desmond Children's Eye Centre, which is next door to the main Moorfields Eye Hospital and accessed via Peerless Street.

We treat children who need emergency eye care in the children's centre between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.  In the evenings, overnight and at weekends, children are treated in the adult A&E department in the main hospital.
