Northern Line closed between Moorgate and Kennington, 15 Jan – mid May 2022

TfL’s work to Bank station’s access and capacity will affect all patients and staff who travel north to Moorfields via Old Street station, including those travelling from west and east London.

The Northern Line will still be running southbound to Old Street, with a reduced frequency.

Main alternative routes

London Bridge – Bus 141 from Stop C ,16 stops to Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Bank/Monument (ie east and west) – Bus 21/43/141 from Princes Street Stop A, 6 stops to Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Oval – Bus 733 (new weekday route to replace Northern Line) either to London Bridge, then 141 bus, or to Moorgate (terminus), then tube to Old Street.
