Please attend if you can

Please attend your appointment if you can. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to the travel disruption, please let us know as soon as possible by emailling moorfields.outpatientbookingsbc@nhs.net

How you can help us to see more patients on strike days

Our teams will have the same difficulties in travelling in to offer appointments as you will, and you can help us to make sure we can see as many people as possible by:

  • Responding to the text we sent you to let us know whether you are intending attending your appointment. · Emailing us now at moorfields.outpatientbookingsbc@nhs.net or ringing the number on your appointment letter if you cannot attend, to rearrange your appointment. We can then offer this slot to other patients.
  • Allowing extra time for your journey next week so you can arrive on time.
  • Being patient with us if you have to wait longer than usual in a clinic or if our phone lines are busy.

Planning your journey during the strike

Please check the TfL website for their latest information and guidance

There may also be potential for disruption to Overground trains or on the transport the morning after a strike.
