Moorfields Dubai to host World Association of Eye Hospitals meeting

Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of several leading eye hospitals that will have representatives at an interactive board meeting on World Sight Day, Thursday 9 October 2014 at Moorfields Dubai. The convention, which has been organised by The World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH), will encourage delegates to envisage what they think eye care will look like in 2030.

Ideas will be exchanged about how new technologies, changing behaviours and new competitors will alter national and international eye care chains. Keynote lectures from the Vice President of E-Commerce and Mobile at Emirates Dubai, Bob Kabli and Director of the REshape Innovation Centre at Radbourd University Medical Centre, Lucien Engelen, will also be delivered.

The WAEH meeting will aim to motivate members to share and develop ideas and will follow on from a visit by member hospitals to Dubai Healthcare City, on Wednesday 8 October 2014.
