Quality, safety and patient experience - how well is Moorfields doing?

A new quality, safety and patient experience info-hub has been created.

Designed for our patients, their families, health care professionals and the public, it draws together the many standards of quality and safety used to measure how good our care and services are for our patients and shows how well we are doing.

The information you can find in the quality hub on the Moorfields website covers a number of areas including:  figures on infection control, staffing numbers, reports on quality standards, success rates of our surgery, medicines safety, complaints information, patient surveys and more.

We want Moorfields to be the safest place to have ophthalmic treatment and much of the information in this section is used by doctors, nurses and managers to ensure we meet and maintain high standards of care for patients. We also use your feedback to improve services and in this section you can read about what you have told us using the Friends and Family Test and how we use that information to improve patient care. To access the  Friends and Family Test click here.
